1. Return Eligibility
At Seawave Marine, we take pride in the quality and performance of our marine inboard engines. If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, you may request a return under the following conditions:
- The item must be unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging with all manuals and accessories intact.
- Returns must be requested within 30 days of delivery.
- Customized, special-order, or installed items are non-returnable.
2. How to Initiate a Return (Canadian Clients)
To begin the return process:
Email our support team at sales@seawavemarine.de with:
- Your order number
- Reason for return
- Photos or video showing the condition of the product
If approved, we will issue a Return Authorization Number (RA#) and provide return shipping instructions.
Products must be returned to our designated warehouse location within 14 days of receiving the RA#.
Note: Unauthorized returns or those received without an RA# will not be accepted.
3. Return Shipping Responsibility
Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs, including:
- Shipping charges
- Insurance
- Canadian customs clearance or import duties
Returns must be shipped using a trackable shipping method.
Seawave Marine is not responsible for lost, delayed, or damaged return shipments.
4. Refund Processing
Once your return is received and inspected:
- A full or partial refund will be issued based on product condition.
- Refunds are processed to your original method of payment within 5–10 business days.
- You will receive a confirmation email with a refund receipt.
In cases of damage or missing components, a restocking fee of up to 20% may be applied.
5. Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received your refund:
- Check your bank account or credit card statement.
- Contact your payment provider—some banks take up to 30 days to reflect the refund.
- If you’ve completed these steps and still haven’t received it, email us at sales@seawavemarine.de.
6. Order Cancellations
Orders can be canceled only before processing or shipment.
If cancellation is approved, a 15% cancellation fee may be applied to cover transaction and restocking costs.
Once shipped, the order cannot be canceled.
7. Non-Returnable Situations
We cannot accept returns in the following cases:
- Buyer no longer wants the engine (change of mind)
- Engine has been installed or altered
- Custom-built or special-order engines
- Buyer found a lower price elsewhere
By placing an order, the buyer agrees to these terms and enters into a legally binding sales contract under applicable German and international commercial law.
