From our Hamburg headquarters or directly from authorized stockholder warehouses within our dealer network, every order is managed with precision handling, verified documentation, and time-critical coordination.

Dispatch & Processing Time

Orders are processed immediately once payment is confirmed.

• Engines, Generators & Major Equipment: Usually dispatched within 3 – 7 business days, including inspection, documentation, and warranty activation.
• Spare Parts & Accessories: Typically shipped within 1 – 3 business days, if available in stock.
• Custom or Special Orders: Lead times confirmed individually based on production and inspection schedules.

Shipping Costs: Freight charges are calculated according to weight, dimensions, destination, and shipping method.
Final rates appear at checkout or in your official quotation before payment approval.

Direct Shipping from Authorized Dealer Network

To reduce lead times and freight costs, Seawave Marine can ship certain products directly from the stock owner’s facility within our authorized dealer network.
This ensures:

• Faster delivery for engines and marine generators held in regional warehouses (Europe, U.S., Asia).
• Authenticity and full warranty coverage, as all products come from manufacturer-approved inventory.
• Optimized freight routing, minimizing cross-border handling and customs delays.

Before each dispatch, our logistics team verifies stock origin, warranty registration, and compliance paperwork to guarantee that every shipment meets the same quality standards as deliveries from our Hamburg facility.

Shipping Within Europe

Our central hub in Hamburg, Germany, provides fast and cost-effective distribution across the EU and UK.

• Road Freight: Reliable delivery for engines, generators, and large equipment to destinations such as Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, and Denmark.
• Courier Services: (DHL, UPS, DPD, FedEx) for smaller or time-sensitive parts shipments.
• Transit Time: Usually 1 – 5 business days, depending on location.

All EU deliveries are fully tracked and insured, compliant with European logistics and consumer-protection standards.
VAT-registered EU customers may purchase under intra-community supply (0% VAT) upon providing a valid VAT ID.

Global Shipping

Through our extended partner network, Seawave Marine delivers worldwide to shipyards, marinas, offshore facilities, and ports.

• Sea Freight (FCL/LCL): For complete engines, marine generators, and bulk cargo.
• Air Freight (Express): For urgent or time-critical deliveries.
• Port Coordination & Inspection: Includes export paperwork, pre-shipment verification, and optional cargo insurance.
• Transit Time: Typically 7 – 21 business days, depending on route and destination.

All international shipments are packaged using ISPM-ISPM-15-certified export crates, moisture protection, and vibration-safe bracing to guarantee safe arrival.

Shipping Documentation

Every order is accompanied by full export documentation:

• Commercial Invoice & Packing List
• Certificate of Origin (if required)
• Manufacturer’s Certificate of Compliance
• Bill of Lading / Air Waybill
• Warranty Registration Confirmation
• EPA, CE, or IMO Certificates (as applicable)

Customers receive digital copies and tracking information immediately after dispatch.

Incoterms & Freight Terms

We operate under Incoterms 2020, offering flexible options such as EXW, FOB, CIF, and DAP.
Clients may nominate their own forwarder or authorise Seawave Marine to manage the entire logistics chain, including export clearance, insurance, and final port delivery.

Customs & Import Regulations

Our documentation and compliance specialists ensure each shipment meets destination-country import and customs regulations.
Unless otherwise agreed under the selected Incoterm, customers remain responsible for local duties, import VAT, and port fees.
